KCR met Sonia only to seek CM's post: Shravan Hyderabad, April 17 (INN): Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee chief spokesperson Dr Sharavan Kumar on Thursday alleged that TRS President K Chandrasekhar Rao, along with his family members, called on AICC President Sonia Gandhi to seek the post of Chief Minister.
Speaking to media persons at Gandhi Bhavan here, Shravan Kumar referred to KCR's meeting with the AICC chief after the passing of Telangana Bill in the Parliament.
He said KCR offered to merge TRS with the Congress on the sole condition of him getting the Chief Minister's post. However, Sonia Gandhi did not commit anything. Angered by her response, KCR went back on his promise of merger and opened a front against the Congress party.
Shravan Kumar accused KCR of behaving like a dictator in the party. He said there was no democracy in the TRS and genuine workers were being subjected to injustice.
