TDP, YSRCP bribing the voters, alleges Padmaraju Hyderabad, April 21 (INN): Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee chief spokesperson Rudraraju Padmaraju on Monday accused the TDP-BJP alliance and YSR Congress Party of trying to bribe the voters.
Speaking to media persons at Indira Bhavan here, Padmaraju alleged that the parties were trying to lure the voters by making tall promises. He said that the promises being made to the voters in speeches were entirely different from those mentioned in their manifestoes. He said such promises have left the voters in a state of confusion.
Padmaraju slammed TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu and alleged that he did not bring any development in the State during his nine-year regime as the Chief Minister.
Even Naidu's home district of Chittoor lacks basic amenities, especially the drinking water. However, Naidu is trying to mislead the people by promising projects worth several thousands crores, he alleged.
He asked Naidu to explain as to how he plans to fund those schemes while he himself is accusing the Congress Government of emptying the exchequer.
