Mohan Babu to direct a documentary on Telugu cinema It's known that whole of Indian film industries celebrated 100 years of Indian cinema festival. As Dada Saheb Phalke made the first film in India in 1913 with his 'Raja Harishchandra', the whole of Indian film industry celebrated it last year.
But collection king Mohan Babu felt Telugu cinema industry was not honoured as it befits and now he decided to do his part. According to sources Mohan Babu is making a special documentary on contribution of Telugu cinema in 100 years of Indian cinema history.
By including the journey of Telugu cinema, from the very first flick HM Reddy's Bakta Prahlada released in 1930 to the present, Mohan Babu is trying include all achievements in his documentary.
Not only that Mohan Babu himself directing this documentary and Manchu Vishnu is supervising the works. Vishnu is said to be not compromising on this documentary and is reportedly spending 6 crores to make it in international standards and is getting ready to place Telugu film a world famous one.
The documentary mentions each and every actor and technician who served the film industry. This could be a fitting tribute from Manchu family to 100 years of Indian cinema celebration and total film industry will now have a look at brave step from Manchu family.
