Rabhasa heroine ties knot with young hero The young sensation of South Indian cinema Fahadh Faasil and Nazriya Nazim got married yesterday i.e Thursday, 21 August. The traditional 'nikah' ceremony was held at 12 noon at Al-Saj Convention Centre in Kazhakuttam, Thiruvananthapuram.
After the function, the newlywed couple gave a brief appearance to the media and fans.The wedding function was attended by family and friends who are invited personally by both the families. Both nazriya and Fahad dated each other for some time and they got engaged earlier this year.
Fahad, the son of director Fazil, made his debut as a child artiste with 1992 release 'Pappayude Swantham Appoos' and a decade later he entered filmdom as a hero in his dad's film 'Kaiyethum Doorath'.
In 2009, he made a comeback and churned out a string of hits like 'Akam', 'Chaappa Kurishu', '22 Female Kottayam', 'Diamond Necklace' and 'Annayum Rasoolum'.He attained star hero status in Malayalam.
Nazriya too started her acting career as a child artist with director Blessy's 'Palunku' in 2006 and turned into a lead actress with 'Maad Dad' and later featured in films like 'Neram' and 'Naiyaandi'.Then she marked her presence in Tamil with films like Raja Rani and Thirumanam Enna Nikah
Nazriya name was even considered for NTR's Rabhasa movie but the heroine declined the offer due to unknown reasons.Nazriya and Fahad shared the screen as husband and wife in the blockbuster movie 'Bangalore Days'.
It is still unclear if Nazriya will follow footsteps of Amala Paul and stay away from cinema after wedding. The wedding reception will held on August 24 is expected to be attended by big stars in Malayalam and Tamil cinema.
