AP Assembly pays rich tributes to Bapu Hyderabad, Sept 1 (INN): The Andhra Pradesh State Legislative Assembly on Monday paid rich tributes to famous director Sattiraju Lakshmi Narayana, popularly known as Bapu, who passed away in Chennai on Sunday evening.
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu, Leader of the Opposition YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and others extended their deepest condolences and described Bapu's demise as an immeasurable loss to Telugu people and to the world of arts and cinema.
The members observed two minute silence as a mark of respect and passed a condolence motion paying tributes to the legendary director.
