Aagadu failed to reach AD on Day 1 Looks like the first day collections of Mahesh-starrer Aagadu is all set to script new Telugu cinema box office records as Mahesh rules the hearts of cine-goers with his latest release. The family drama has set the box office ablaze and became a money spinner at the ticket window.
Initial reports say that the film might set new records for 1st day collections in several areas. Aagadu has registered 100% occupancy in both single screens and multiples across India in all the shows.
As per the early trends, the movie has collected approximately Rs 9.74 crores at the AP and Telangana Box Office on the first day. This is the highest day 1 collections on Mahesh career and all time best in 2014. It has broken the records of Attarintiki Daredi in various regions like Nizam, Guntur, Godavari West, Bhimavaram, Ongole, USA and UAE.
But the film has failed to beat total collections of Attarintiki daredi on Day 1.It is to be mentioned here that although several biggies have released after 'Attarintiki Daredi,' none of them managed to surpass the first day collections of the Pawan Kalyan starrer. The film had minted ₹10.75 crore as opening day at the AP/Nizam box office.
