Jana demands all party meet on Metro Rail Hyderabad, Sept 20 (INN): Leader of the Opposition K Jana Reddy on Saturday demanded an all party meeting on the issue of Hyderabad Metro Rail.
Addressing a press conference at the Congress Legislature Party office here, Jana Reddy said that the State Government was not maintaining transparency on the issue of Metro Rail.
He said that the government needs to clarify on its communication with the L&T. Further, he said that the government should have issued a clarification on the Raidurg land.
Jana Reddy said that Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao should convene an all-party meeting and place all the files related to the project before the opposition parties.
Further, he said that all obstacles coming in the way of Metro Rail project. Further, steps should be taken that no problems occur till the execution of the entire project.
The CLP leader said that the Metro Rail project was related to the people of Telangana and they have a right to know its real status. He said that the Chief Minister needs to break his silence on the issue and come out with a clear statement by convening an all-party meeting.
Deputy CLP leader in Legislative Council Mohammed Ali Shabbir and Chevella MLA K Yadaiah were also present.
