Cherry fails to beat Mahesh and NTR Ram Charan starrer "GAV," which hit the screens yesterday, took grand openings across the world. As expected the film has put up some mind-boggling numbers! According to trade sources, GAV has even broke some records in some areas. GAV has registered 100% occupancy in both single screens and multiples across India in all the shows.
The film world minted ₹8.48 crore share on the first day at the AP/Nizam box office, thus taking the ninth spot in the list of all time top-10 opening day shares. With ₹10.75 crore share, "Attarintiki Daaredi" still tops the list. This is the third best collections of 2014 after Mahesh Aagadu(9.75) and NTR Rabhasa(8.85).
The family entertainer opened to mixed reviews from the critics. But, it did not affect the opening day business of the film
