Guv asks TS, AP to resolve water dispute Hyderabad, Oct 23 (INN): Governor ESL Narasimhan on Thursday expressed confidence that the dispute going-on between Telangana and Andhra Pradesh over sharing of water would be resolved amicably.
Speaking to media persons after holding Praja Darbar at Raj Bhavan on the occasion of Diwali festival, the Governor said that he had discussed with the Chief Secretaries of both the States over ongoing water dispute.
He suggested that both the States hold talks to resolve the dispute. He said that the decision of Krishna River Board should be taken into consideration for an amicable solution.
Meanwhile, the Governor has wished people of both Telangana and Andhra Pradesh a happy and prosperous Diwali.
