School kid commits suicide in Hyderabad Hyderabad, Oct 28 (INN): In a shocking incident, a 12-year-old boy committed suicide by setting himself ablaze in Rajender Nagar police limits.
The deceased, Ajay Kumar, took the extreme step at his residence in Premavathipet on October 24 after he was chided by his father Anjaiah for bursting left over crackers of Diwali. He was admitted to the Osmania General Hospital where he died on Monday night. He was a student of seventh class.
In a similar incident, a 14-year-old boy, Parmesh, committed suicide by consuming bathroom acid. The incident happened in MG Nagar in Humayun Nagar police limits on Monday. Parmesh took the extreme while he was alone at his residence. He was later shifted to a nearby private hospital where he died a few hours after admission. The reasons that led him to suicide are yet to ascertained. The boy used to do some odd jobs for private firms, police said.
