PNLJ brings relief to YVS Chowdary Sai Dharam Tej's debut film Rey, which had been lying in the cans for a long time owing to financial hiccups, may soon hit the theaters, says reports.
The film, directed and produced by YVS Chowdary, has been in the making for three years and despite its audio launch in the presence of Pawan Kalyan, the film's release was put on hold. The success of Tej's second film Pilla Nuvvu Leni Jeevitham has apparently brought a ray of hope for YVS who is struggling to bail out the film.
If the buzz is anything to go by, the director is currently holding talks with a few distributors and is making negotiations to bring the film to the theaters and so far everything is looking in favour of the filmmaker.
If everything goes as planned, Rey will hit the screens sometime early next year (2015). Also starring Shubra Aiyappa and Shraddha Das in the lead roles, Rey has music by Chakri. The film was shot extensively in the Caribbean Islands and Tej will be seen as a street smart rock star.
