Rowdy Fellow made Nara Rohit a happy man Nara Rohit's latest Rowdy Fellow, which released on Friday, received mixed reviews from critics and audience alike. Directed by writer-turned-director Chaitanya Krishna, it portrays Rohit as an egoistic cop who launches a war against a tainted politician, enacted by Rao Ramesh.
Rohit admits that they didn't take the film aggressively to the audience and says, 'The film faced some hiccups on the first day as we didn't take the release date to the audience.
But word-of-mouth spread like wildfire and it is drawing good crowds to the theatres.' Ask him on why commercial success has been eluding him for years, pat comes the reply, 'To some extent Rowdy Fellow has filled the void of me delivering a commercial success. In the coming days, I think people will see more commercial entertainers coming from me.'
