Jeevitha gets jail and bail Actor and director Jeevita Rajashekar who recently was appointed as official spokesperson of BJP landed in a deep trouble. She was awarded two years jail term by the local Erramanjil court for her involvement in a cheque bounce case.
The court also directed her to furnish a bond of Rs 25 lakhs. She promptly furnished a bond and sought bail from the court. The court upon satisfying itself with the bond granted her bail.
It is learnt that Jeevitha borrowed an amount of Rs 34 lakh from her family friend Sekhar Reddy and in turn, gave a promissory note and two cheques as surety. When he presented the cheques in the bank, they were bounced.
The petitioner alleged that cheques got bounced and she did not give the amount even after completion of several months. Summons were issued against Jeevita, when the case was brought to the court. She has not attended the court. Thus, the court issued arrest warrant against her.
Jeevitha is currently working for Rajasekhar's upcoming film 'Gaddam Gang' and the actress was unavailable for the comment.
