Kukatpally MLA demands BRS fee waiver Hyderabad, Nov 24 (INN): Kukatpally MLA M Krishna Rao has urged the State Government to waive off the building regularisation fee for owners of 630 properties in his constituency.
Raising the issue during Zero Hour in the State Legislative Assembly on Monday, Krishna Rao said that the owners of 630 properties in Kukatpally constituency have been served notices by the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation stating that their structures were illegal and hence, they have been asked to pay heavy fine amounts to regularise the same.
He said that the owners own small houses or properties and could not afford to pay heavy fines to the GHMC. Therefore, he requested the government to waive off the fee under the Building Regularisation Scheme.
