Naidu wants UN Centre for Water in AP Hyderabad, Jan 23 (INN): On Day 3 of World Economic Forum, Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu participated in a session on 'The future of Urban Development." Later, he took part in a discussion on establishing UN Centre for Water in Andhra Pradesh.
In a bilateral meeting, he also met with Anish Shah and CP Gurnani, Mahindra group, CEO of Royal Phillips, Frans Van Houten, CEO of Diageo Plc. Ivan Menezes.
Later in the day, he met with Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak and explained potential areas of investments in Andhra Pradesh.
The Malaysian PM assured the Chief Minister that he would send a delegation to the state to explore investment opportunities in tourism and others sectors. The Chief Minister explained that the long coastline gives Andhra Pradesh an advantage of becoming the Gateway to South East Asia.
During his meeting with the PM, the Chief Minister also recalled how former PM of Malaysia had supported (united) AP in investments.
