Rajaiah was made a scapegoat: Revanth Reddy Hyderabad, Jan 25 (INN): Telangana TDP leader and MLA A Revanth Reddy on Sunday described the removal of Dr T Rajaiah from the State cabinet as an eyewash and said he was made a scapegoat by Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao.
Speaking to media persons at NTR Trust Bhavan here, Revanth Reddy said no minister in KCR's cabinet has any powers. All are ministers only for the namesake and they just follow the directions of KCR, his son K Tarakarama Rao, nephew T Harish Rao and daughter K Kavitha. He alleged that no minister was allowed to work independently and therefore, Rajaiah's outster was aimed at hiding the failures of KCR.
Revanth Reddy condemned the way Rajaiah was sacked and alleged that it shows the dictatorial attitude of KCR. He said if KCR was really interested in public health, then he would conducted a review on Swine Flu situation about a month ago.
He said Rajaiah was sacked from the cabinet only to put pressure on other ministers and convey a strong message that they would meet the same fate if they refused to follow dictates of KCR's family.
