Sacked Dy CM Rajaiah battling stress HYDERABAD: Former deputy chief minister T Rajaiah, who was sacked from the State Cabinet a few days ago, was admitted to a private hospital after he complained of chest pain and fatigue. He, later, walked out of the hospital against medical advice.
'Investigations revealed high blood sugar levels with lateral wall Ischemia of the heart. A team of senior cardiologists is treating him,' hospital authorites said in a medical bulletin after he was admitted around 6 p.m.
Rajaiah's son Kranthi told reporters that his father had not been eating properly for the last three days and was under stress. Rajaiah was dropped from the Cabinet following allegations of corrupt practices in the health department.
Around 9.30 pm., Rajaiah emerged from the hospital and told reporters that he was fine. In the same breath, he reiterated his faith in Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao's leadership and said he was ready to face any probe.
