Rs 230 Cr sanctioned for Mission Kakatiya HYDERABAD:The state government accorded administrative sanction for Rs 230.50 crore for taking up tank restoration works under Mission Kakatiya, in the state.
The state government will soon launch restoration works of all minor irrigation tanks in the state of their original capacity and to effectively utilise 265 tmc water allocated for minor irrigation sector under Godavari and Krishna river basins. Mission Kakatiya is the flagship programme of the state government.
The state government released Rs 230.50 crore for restoring 699 tanks in seven districts.
