Table report on Bhoodan lands: Shankar Rao Hyderabad: Former minister Dr P Shankar Rao on Thursday demanded that the State Government table the report of House Committee on Bhoodan lands.
Speaking to media persons in Assembly premises here, Shankar Rao said that the House Committee was formed on his demand to probe into the irregularities on Bhoodan lands worth about Rs 10,000 crore. However, he said that the report was yet to be tabled by the government. He said that the tabling of report would expose all the land sharks who misappropriated the Bhoodan lands.
Shankar Rao claimed that the real estate mafia was actively involved in misappropriation of Bhoodan lands that he was offered 200 acres of land through a mediator when he raised this issue in the House.
