KCR to attend CII's annual meet Hyderabad, March 5 (INN): Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao, in response to a request from the representatives of Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), agreed to attend as Chief Guest the First Annual Meeting of CII Telangana on 11th March to be held at Hyderabad.
Telangana CII Chairperson Vanitha Datla, Vice-Chairman Nrupender Rao and others called on the Chief Minister on Thursday at the State Secretariat. The Chief Minister told the CII representatives that the Telangana Government would like to launch the Industrial Policy and desires to have the presence of CII on that occasion. The CII representative said, that, if agreed they would organise the launching through their National Council.
The Chief Minister also assured them that there would be sufficient power by early 2016 and by the completion of 2016 there shall be no power cuts in Telangana for Industries. He also told them, that, industries will not have any water problem and would get treated water supply. Recalling his meeting with Jindal Group the Chief Minister, said, that, they expressed their preparedness for establishing steel factory at Bayyaram in Khammam District. He also mentioned that Hyderabad city was not understood properly by the earlier regimes and his government is doing its best to make it one of the best cities.
Deputy Chief Minister Kadiyam Srihari, R&B Minister Tummala Nageshwar Rao, Energy Minister Jagadeesh Reddy and Principal Secretary to Chief Minister S. Narsing Rao were present in the meeting.
