Governor, CMs greet people on Holi festival Hyderabad, March 5 (INN): Governor ESL Narasimhan on Thursday conveyed his greetings and good wishes to the people of both Telangana and Andhra Pradesh States on the occasion of Holi festival to be celebrated on Friday.
'I convey my hearty greetings and good wishes to the people of the both the States on the occasion of Holi festival. Holi is a colourful and vibrant festival which strengthens fraternal bonds amongst the people and signifies peace and prosperity. It reinforces our unity amidst diversity through the joyful celebration of sprinkling of colours," the Governor said.
The Governor said that the festive spirit of Holi transcends all social barriers and strengthens the social fabric. "Legends associated with Holi are symbolic of the power of truth with good triumphing over evil. I once again convey my greetings and best wishes to my brethren on this happy and joyful occasion,' he said in a special message.
In separate messages, Chief Ministers K Chandrashekar Rao (Telangana) and N Chandrababu Naidu (Andhra Pradesh) conveyed their best wishes to the people on the occasion of Holi festival.
