Ayurvedic Hospital to be shifted soon Hyderabad, March 25 (INN): Health Minister C Lakshma Reddy on Wednesday admitted that the shifting of Ayurvedic Hospital from the campus of Government Unani College and Hopsital in Charminar area has been pending for a long period.
Replying to a question raised by MIM floor leader Akbaruddin Owaisi and others during Question Hour in Legislative Assembly, the minister said the Hyderabad District Collector was addressed on May 4, 2012, for allotment of land for Ayurvedic Hospital. He said that the shifting would be taken up immediately after allotment of land.
The Minister also informed that orders were issued for taking up of renovation of the Unani Buildings at a cost of Rs 3 crore under the special scheme of Rachabanda for welfare of and development activities for the year 2011-12. The construction work is taken up under the supervision of TSMSIDC. He said that the works were in progress.
