108 contract staff serves strike notice Hyderabad, April 20 (INN): The 108 Emergency Services Employees Association on Monday threatened to go on strike from May 5 if their demands are not met.
According to Association President Mahender Reddy, the employees, in their strike notice, have demanded regularisation of services of contract employees working with 108 services and payment of minimum wages to the employees. They also urged that the State Government take control of the 108 services. Else, he said that the contract employees would be forced to go on strike after May 5.
