Lakshma Redy promises to upgrade NIMS Hyderabad, April 20 (INN): Medical and Health Minister Dr C Lakshma Reddy has assured that the Telangana Government would upgrade the Nizam's Institute of Medical Sciences (NIMS) further.
Speaking to media persons after conducting a surprise visit in the NIMS on Monday, Lakshma Reddy said that the government has allocated adequate funds for the upgradation of NIMS. He said that the patients have expressed their satisfaction over the behaviour and services of NIMS staff. He said funds would not be constraint to address the issues related to public health. As promises, he said that the State Government would set up one super-specialty hospital in all the districts of Telangana.
The minister said that steps were also being taken to upgrade and improve the 108 Emergency Services. However, he feigned ignorance when asked about the strike notice served by the 108 contract employees.
