KCR to be unanimously re-elected as TRS chief Hyderabad, April 20 (INN): Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao is all set to get re-elected as the President of Telangana Rashtra Samithi during party's plenary session on April 24.
On the last date of filing of nomination for the post on Monday, six set of nomination papers were submitted in favour of KCR before Election Officer and Home Minister Nayani Narasimha Reddy. Deputy Chief Ministers Kadiam Srihari and Mahmood Ali, ministers P Mahender Reddy and G Jagadish Reddy and other leaders submitted the nomination papers in favor of KCR at Telangana Bhavan.
Speaking to media persons later, the Home Minister announced that since no other nomination has been received for the post of president, KCR would retain the post unanimously. He said that the formal announcement would be made during party's plenary session on April 24 at LB Stadium.
