Nepal born Indian actress thanked Modi Bollywood actress Manisha Koirala has thanked India and Prime Minister Narendra Modi for quickly coming to Nepal's help after the devastating earthquake. Manisha who was a Nepali born was in tears while watching the news of the destruction on TV after earthquake left over 1,900 people dead.
"Commendable job by the Indian gov to quickly send help...cannot thank enough!!!" read a post on the Twitter page of the actress."Tears roll down after seeing all this... My heartfelt thanks to Indian help... In such times their quick effective help will be forever be embedded in our memories... Thank you Prime Minister Modi," read another post on the actress' Twitter and Facebook page.
Manisha Koirala was born in Kathmandu, Nepal, Koirala family to Prakash Koirala and Sushma Koirala. Her grandfather Bishweshwar Prasad Koirala was the Prime Minister of Nepal during the late 1950s-early 1960s, as well as two of her late great-uncles, Girija Prasad Koirala and Matrika Prasad Koirala. Her father Prakash Koirala has also been a prominent politician and a Cabinet Minister.
Meanwhile more than 3000 people were killed and thousands of people were injured in the worst earthquake ever. India has sent rescue teams for relief and rescue operations.
