Collectors' meet on May 11 over Haritha Haram Hyderabad, May 6 (INN): Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao has called for a meeting with District Collectors and officials of Forest Department to discuss the implementation of Haritha Haram programme in Telangana State.
The decision was taken in a review meeting held by the Chief Minister at the State Secretariat on Wednesday. Addressing the meeting, KCR directed the officials to ensure plantation of 320 crore saplings across Telangana in the next four years. He said that the modalities of the programme would be finalised in a meeting, which will be held on May 11 at Dr Marri Chenna Reddy Human Resource Development Centre.
The Chief Minister said joint nurseries would be established by the Forest and Sericulture Departments to get the required saplings.
