New Sub-Station to improve power supply Hyderabad, May 27 (INN): The 220/132 KV Erragadda GIS (Gas Insulated Station) Sub Station was charged on Wednesday afternoon and added to the TSTRANSCO system.
This new Sub-Station is expected to give relief to Madhapur, Sivarampally, Jubleehills and Gachibowli and reliable supply source to Hussainsagar SS. This The Sub-station has been constructed at a cost of Rs. 230 crores. The TSTRansco is going to charge 132/33 KV GIS Balkampet Sub Station in 15 days and 220/132 KV Osmania University Sub Station in a month, giving relief to many of the overloading Sub Stations in Hyderabad city.
Further Fever Hospital, Narayanguda, Patigadda and Moosarambagh the 132/33 KV Sub Stations and cabling works are in full swing. They are likely to be charged in another 3 to 4 months resolving the low voltage, System contingencies, the TSTRANSCO said in a press release here.
