Rs. 163 Cr for Polytechnic buildings renovation Hyderabad, June 28 (INN): Deputy Chief Minister Kadiyam Srihari said that the State Government would spend Rs. 163 crore for renovation and re-construction of 23 Govt Polytechnic buildings across Telangana State.
The Deputy CM has laid foundation Stone for Girls Hostel building in Govt Polytechnic in Ramanthapur at a cost of Rs. One Crore and additional Classrooms costing Rs. 42 lakhs Speaking on the occasion, Kadiyam said that the government was concentrating not only on providing free Education for poor but also was committed to provide quality Education in Govt. Institutions. He said that the government has abolished fees in government junior colleges which shows its commitment to improve the standard of education at all levels.
Transport Minister P. Mahender Reddy said that the government was taking all steps to improve infrastructure in Schools and Colleges constructing toilets in all Government Schools is as step in that direction.
Malkajigiri MP Ch. Mallareddy, Local MLA N.V.S.S. Prabhakar, MLC Janardhan Reddy and concerned officials and local public representation have participated in the programme.
