Revanth Reddy's judicial remand extended Hyderabad, June 29 (INN): The Special Court for ACB Cases on Monday extended till July 13 the judicial custody of TDP MLA A. Revanth Reddy and two other accused - Sebastian Harry and Uday Simha - in the Cash for Vote scam.
Following end of their judicial custody, all three accused were produced before the ACB Court on Monday. They were brought to the court at Nampally amid tight security. The ACB sought extension of their remand on the grounds that the investigations in the case are at a crucial stage. Revanth Reddy was arrested by the Anti-Corruption Bureau on May 31 when he allegedly tried to bribe nominated legislator Elvis Stephenson to get his vote his party's candidate in MLC elections.
The High Court will pronounce the verdict on Revanth Reddy's bail petition on Tuesday.
