Supreme Court supports Revanth's Bail
TDP leader Revanth Reddy has once again showed his upper hand in cash for vote scam. The Supreme Court rejected the Telangana Anti-Corruption Bureau's petition to quash Revanth Reddy's bail .Its known that Telangana Anti-Corruption Bureau, which is probing the cash-for-vote case, has moved the Supreme Court against the Hyderabad High Court's order granting bail to TDP MLA A Revanth Reddy and two others. A special leave petition has been filed seeking cancellation of the bail.'Revanth Reddy's bail case will come to hearing in SCtoday'noon.
ACB counsel and the attorneys told the Court that in his speech right after he came out on bail, Revanth was threatening and used harsh words. They said that immediately after coming out of bail from Cherlapally Central Prison on Wednesday, Revanth Reddy, in his speech has used intimidating and harsh words against Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao. The council also argued that there are good chances of Revanth Reddy manipulating evidence in the Cash For vote case. But the Supreme Court not paid heed to the arguments and upholds the bail.
