AP CM invites Mizuho Bank to set their headquarters Hyderabad, July 7 (INN): On the second day of his Japan visit, Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu began his day by meeting with Tatsufumi Sakai, Managing Executive Officer, Head of International Banking Unit, Mizuho Bank.
Mizuho Bank is the second largest bank in Japan and has one of the largest client bases.
During the meeting, the Chief Minister told Sakai that Andhra Pradesh is keen to participate in financing Japanese Corporations which are interested in capital construction. He also invited Mizuho Bank to set up their India headquarters in Amaravati. 'We are planning to make our capital a financial hub,' he said. He also asked Mizuho Bank to consider setting up their back office in Andhra Pradesh.
Sakai said that they will encourage their clients to explore investment opportunities in Andhra Pradesh. He also informed the Chief Minister that seminars will be held to advise Japanese companies on investing in Andhra Pradesh.
Later, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between Mizuho bank and GoAP.
Osamu Kato, General Manager and Kenichiro Koseki, Deputy General Manager were present at the meeting.
