TDP Govt will get Special Status for AP: Gali Hyderabad, Aug 2 (INN): TDP senior leader and MLC Gali Muddu Krishnamma Naidu has reiterated that TDP Government would get Special Status for Andhra Pradesh at any cost.
Speaking to media persons at NTR Trust Bhavan here on Sunday, Gali claimed that Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has been striving hard to achieve Special Status for AP. He said that the TDP would continue to pressurise the Centre until it grants Special Status. Stating that Congress and YSR Congress Party were hand-in-glove in dividing the erstwhile Andhra Pradesh State, he said now both the parties are trying to play politics over the issue of Special Status. He also accused YSRCP president YS Jagan Mohan Reddy of having a secret alliance with TRS.
Gali asked Jagan as to why he did not react on the issue of phone-tapping. Similarly, Jagan remained silent when Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao described people from AP living in joint capital Hyderabad as guests. He said KCR would meet the same fate as that of Ramakrishna Hegde in the case of phone tapping.
