KCR has failed to get Central funds: Uttam Kumar Karimnagar, Aug 30 (INN): Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) president N. Uttam Kumar Reddy has accused Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao of having failed to get adequate funds for the State from the Central Government.
Speaking to media persons at Godavarikhani here on Sunday, Uttam Kumar said that the TRS Government did not make effective representations with the Central Government and therefore, it could not get required funds for several developmental projects.
Uttam Kumar Reddy said that the Congress party would not accept any change in the original design of Pranahita-Chevella project. Describing the proposed changes in design as cheating with the people, he said that the Congress party would launch a massive agitation in this regard. He also slammed KCR for the proposed cheap liquor policy. He said that the Chief Minister was not concerned about the health of common people.
The TPCC chief also criticised the TRS Government for its failure to control the increase in prices of essential commodities.
