Asha workers protest at CM's camp office Hyderabad, Oct 3 (INN): More than 100 Asha workers staged a protest before the camp office of Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao at Begumpet here on Saturday.
The Asha workers demanded payment of monthly salary of Rs. 15,000 and other allowances for vaccination and conducting child delivery. They raised slogans against the State Government and Chief Minister.
The protesters were later taken into custody and shifted to Panjagutta Police Station.
Meanwhile, several residents of Telugu Talli Nagar of Suraram area staged a dharna at CM's camp office in protest against the proposed plan to shift them from the locality. They were also arrested and shifted to Panjagutta Police Station.
