TRS Govt had threatened Warangal voters: Bhatti Hyderabad, Nov 25 (INN): Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) Working President Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka alleged that the TRS had pressurised and threatened people of Warangal to seek their votes during the by-elections.
Speaking to media persons here on Wednesday, Bhatti said nearly two lakh pensioners and their families in Warangal were threatened that their pensions would be stopped if TRS candidate P. Dayakar loses the election. He alleged that Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao himself has given statements threatening that all welfare schemes would be stopped if people vote for Congress candidate.
Bhatti said that the TPCC was conducting a detailed probe into this aspect and would approach the Election Commission with specific information. He said that the Congress party was not demoralised with the results and it would make better preparations for 2019 elections.
