All three YSRCP MLAs merged into TRS Hyderabad, May 6 (INN): The YSR Congress Party has become a non-entity in the Telangana State Legislative Assembly as Speaker S. Madhusudan Chary on Friday gave nod for merger of all three YSRCP MLAs into the ruling Telangana Rashtra Samithi.
In a bulletin issued on Friday, Legislature Secretary Dr. S. Raja Sadaram informed that YSRCP MLAs - Payam Venkateswarlu, Thati Venkateswarlu and Banoth Madan Lal have submitted a letter to the Speaker stating that they have merged with the TRSLP and requested him to take appropriate action in the matter.
"The Speaker has taken note of the same and allotted seats to them along with members of TRSLP in the House," the Secretary said.
It may be mentioned that on March 11 this year, the Speaker has merged 12 TDP MLAs with the TRS.
