IIM will be established in Warangal: Dy CM Hyderabad, May 22 (INN): Deputy Chief Minister (Education) Kadiyam Srihari has announced that the Indian Institute of Management (IIM),which has been approved by the Centre, would be established in Warangal.
Speaking to media persons on Sunday, the Deputy CM said that a final decision in this regard would be taken after consulting Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao. Further, he said from the new academic year, Warangal would get Hyderabad Public School, Agriculture College and Veterinary College. He said that admissions into these institutions would begin from this year itself.
Kadiyam informed that the Centre has also approved a Sainik School for Warangal district. However, due to some unavoidable circumstances, admissions could not be started from this academic year. However, he assured that admissions in Sainik School would be made from next academic year.
The Deputy CM said that the cost of establishing 250 Gurukul schools across the State has been estimated at Rs. 5 crore which includes construction of buildings and infrastructure.
