Krishnaiah demands new BC Policy on June 2 Hyderabad, May 22 (INN): BC Welfare Association National President and TDP MLA R. Krishnaiah on Sunday demanded that Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao announce State Government's new policy for Backward Classes on June 2, on the occasion of Telangana Formation Day.
Speaking to media persons here, Krishnaiah alleged that KCR and TRS Government were not serious about the welfare of BCs in the State. Accusing of KCR of acting like a dictator, he said that the Chief Minister was preventing the growth of BCs in education and employment. Demanding establishment of 500 Gurukul schools for BCs, he asked the State Government to fulfil the promise of providing KG to PG free education.
Krishnaiah informed that an awareness campaign would be launched on May 26 across the Telangana State to enlighten the BCs on the injustices being done to them.
