TRS MPs meet Rajnath, Gowda Hyderabad, June 28 (INN): TRS MPs and Telangana Bar Association members met Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh in New Delhi and brought to his notice various impending issues related to bifurcation of High Court and division of judicial officials between the two states.
Meanwhile, Union Law Minister Sadanand Gowda warned KCR against criticising the Centre. Responding to the memorandum submitted by a team of Telangana lawyers and others over the ongoing situation in Hyderabad HC, he said that as per the AP Reorganisation Act, the issue should be discussed by the Chief Justice and Chief Ministers and be resolved amicably.
Reacting to the Law Minister's statement, Telangana advocates found fault with the Union Minister saying that the Union Government was inordinately delaying the division of the High Court and warned that they would intensify the protest demanding division of the High Court at the earliest and to revoke the suspension of judges.
