Sri Lankan journalists delegation meets CS Hyderabad, July 1 (INN): The Telangana government was keen on building relationships with the neighboring countries like Sri Lanka and to strengthen cooperation in the fields of tourism, health and social sectors, said Chief Secretary Dr Rajiv Sharma to the visiting Sri Lankan journalists, who called on him at the secretariat on Friday.
Welcoming the delegation, the Chief Secretary briefed the scribes about the historical and cultural importance of the state. He said Hyderabad is the most-favored destination for IT, Pharma, and aerospace industry. Many noted research institutions are located in Hyderabad, he informed the delegation. A 15-member journalists' delegation from Sri Lanka consisting of editors and senior journalists from the island nation is on a three-day familiarization visit to the State.
