Will fight till AP gets special status: KE Tirumala, Aug 29 (INN): Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister K. E Krishnamurthy on Monday said that the state will wage a relentless fight to bring special category status for AP.
The minister, along with his family members, was at the temple town for the darshan at Sri Venkateshwara Swamy Temple. The temple authorities accorded a warm welcome and made special arrangements for the Deputy CM's darshan.
Speaking on the occasion, Krishnamurthy said that AP needs special category status to compensate the loss it occurred during the state bifurcation. He hoped that SCS to AP was possible with Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He thanked Jana Sena chief Pawan kalyan for raising the issue of special category status issue.
