Pak not serious in tackling terror: Venkaiah Hyderabad, Oct 26 (INN): Union Minister for Urban Development M. Venkaiah Naidu on Wednesday condemned the terror attack on police training academy in Quetta of Pakistan and said that terrorism was the worst disaster the humanity was facing now.
Speaking at the BJP Headquarters at Nampally here, the Union Minister demanded the Pakistan government to deal with the extremism in that country with an iron hand and warned that the country would face more damage if it failed to tackle the issue. Unless the Pakistan government does not crack whip against the terror camps in that country, they will pay price for it. At a time when the entire world is committed to tackle the terror issue, Pakistan is not serious in tackling the menace, the BJP leader said. He said that the Union Government was committed for cordial relations with the neighboring countries and stressed the need for the same from Pakistan side.
On the Uttar Pradesh elections and tussle among Samajwadi Party leaders, Naidu said that Samajwadi Party failed to address the problems of the people in the state. He exuded confidence that the BJP would come to power in the state in the next year's Assembly elections.
