All set for AP Assembly session in Amaravati Hyderabad, Feb 19 (INN): Andhra Pradesh Assembly Speaker Dr. Kodela Sivaprasad on Sunday informed that elaborate arrangements are being made to conduct the budget session of State Legislative Assembly in State's new capital Amaravati.
Speaking to media persons, the Speaker said that the State Government had plans to conduct the last winter session in Amaravati. However, the session could not be held due to lack of required facilities. But this time, he said, all arrangements have been made to conduct the maiden session in Amaravati. He said that the entire staff of AP Assembly would shift to Amaravati by February 25.
Dr. Kodela Sivaprasad said that the budget session is proposed to be held from March 3. However, the dates are yet to be finalised.
