Amit Shah to visit Telangana again in Sept Hyderabad, May 25 (INN): Telangana BJP President Dr. K. Lakshman on Thursday informed that his party's national president Amit Shah would visit Telangana again during the month of September.
Addressing a press conference here on Thursday, Lakshman said that Amit Shah would participate in Hyderabad Liberation Day celebrations on September 17. He said Amit Shah was keen on bringing the BJP to power in Telangana in next elections and he would frequently visit the State. He said Amit Shah has directed the BJP workers to conduct door-to-door campaign from May 29 to June 12 to brief the people on the failures of TRS Government.
Lakshman claimed that Amit Shah's visit had brought tremors in the political circles of Telangana. He said that situation would turn hotter when Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adidyanath would visit Telangana. Accepting the challenge of Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao, he said BJP was ready to prove its claims on Central funds and KCR remain firm on his offer to quit the post if proved wrong. However, he said that the Chief Minister should convene a special Assembly session to discuss the issue. He said Amit Shah did not level any allegations, but only disclosed that Central funds were not reaching the people.
The BJP leader said while Amit Shah visited Nalgonda and individually met the people, KCR has remained confined to Pragathi Bhavan and wants to rule the State like Nizams used to rule from their 'Devdis'.
BJP MLAs Kishan Reddy, Chintala Ramchander, NVSS Prabhakar and Raja Singh and MLC N. Ramchander Rao were also present.
